Jamie Davey
Founding RMT
Jamie is no stranger to injuries or pain. With a strong background in athletics, she became a registered massage therapist after a series of falls and sports mishaps left her with soft tissue injuries. It was during her recovery that she discovered the healing benefits of massage therapy and began pursuing a career as an RMT.
Jamie has been practicing as a registered massage therpist since 2008, after receiving her diploma from West Coast College of Massage Therapy. She has built a strong practice with focused treatments using deep tissue, myofascial release, and joint mobilization, helping return the body to its optimal state. Jamie has experience in treating acute and chronic overuse injuries, sports rehabilitation, pre- and post-natal, and injuries incurred from long hours working at a desk. She established The Treatment Room in 2013.
When she’s not at the clinic, Jamie spends her time chasing around her two toddlers, exploring outside, practicing yoga and pilates, swimming and cooking.

Sydney Wilson

sydney@treatmentroomhealth.com
Growing up as a competitive dancer, Sydney developed a fascination with the movement of the human body. She came to realize that an integrated system of mind, body and breath is a powerful facilitator for balance and healing. She pursued and completed the intensive Registered Massage Therapy Program at Vancouver College of Massage Therapy following the completion of the full time Bodywork Program at Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage.
Sydney has found fulfillment in her ability to help others. She has constantly sought ways to build on her skills and to expand her knowledge of anatomy and treatment modalities. She believes in the importance of listening and treating the body as a whole while addressing the symptoms and underlying causes.
Utilizing a variety of techniques, she collaborates with the patient to treat in a way that is fluid, dynamic and integrative. Her compassionate and caring personality allows her to design a treatment which is both relaxing and therapeutic while personally customized to each individual’s needs.
